In no way does it make you a bad person but it is bad for your health.....people should aim to stay within their natural healthy BMI.

depends on what you think is "fat".......5 lbs overweight, 10 lbs? Is being fat wearing a size 4 instead of a size 2 or 0. If you are overweight (determined by a physician), there can be health problems eventually.

It's bad for your health.
When your weight is higher 20% than your ideal body weight (see http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm to calculate your ideal body weight) you can develop some very harmful health problems such as:
High Blood Pressure,
Diabetes,
Strokes,
Osteoarthritis,
...

As you can see some of the health problems you can develop as being overweight are deadly. So being fat can turn out to be really dramatic to your health.

Take care: watch your food and make some sport.
