Actually yes and bo. When God had sent Moses to get his children and his people and take them to the Holy kand he had Noah build an Arc and then it rained for weeks on edn and flooded the entire earth killing everything.
When it was ver and the arc come to resy God had made a covenant through that rainbow to insure that he would not kill everybody again. That covenant is between us and God., but it also is the way to understand who God is.
