hi all,
I need a photoshop image to be printed on a Letter Size paper.
To to this, I did.
1. clicked on File->new.
2. In a 'new' dialog box, under Image size box , i entered values as
Preset Sizes: Letter
Resolution :300
Mode: CMYK
3. I designed the matter and printed with "Print with preview option".
4. Clicked on Print.
5. The paper was printed but some part of the image was missing at the end of the paper.
6. I tried "Scale to fit media.", but there was a larger space at the end of the page.
What I want is I want to print without any margins at the end of the page.
Thank you

I am sure your solution will be in the printer setting. When you click on printing a window will be opened and in Paper setting you will find some thing about Edges(I got Japanese version therefore can not tell you exact English) choose this.
I have just checked this by typing here and can see in my printer's setting.

And some times the photo printing software do have that option.

Please try and see.

What kind of printer is it? The fact that some part was missing at the end of the paper, probably means that's a physical limitation of your printer. The printer needs some space at the end of the paper to 'grab', which cannot be printed upon.

The only solution is to cut the remaining margin, I'm afraid. it depends on the specific printer type whether this margin is smaller or larger. Some can print the entire area, most consumer type models can't.

CHeers!

I agree it sounds like your trying to print beyond your print devices capabilities. I think that you are talking about "bleed" and you want the colour to go to the edge of the paper. This is done by printing your image on a larger sheet size, with bleed (or 3mm minimum extra) around the edges, and then trimming down to letter, so the colour goes to the edge of the sheet.
