I think dolphins and whales are very intelligent. Just because we can't understand them, does not mean they are not intelligent.
I think dolphins and whales understand us better than we could ever understand them.
Just because they get killed does not have anything to do with intelligence. The most intelligent human could easily be killed by another human.
I agree that we need to help stop the killing of these kind, gentle and intelligent creatures.

They have bigger brains because they need them for "data processing" of sound waves to aid navigation. This takes massive brain power. Interesting there is no single record of any whale or dolphin deliberately killing a human even though dolphins can kill huge sharks over 10 meters long.

That's - "can it think better than WE can."
Us is a object pronoun. We is the subject pronoun. The subject of the sentence is a dolphin and is being compared to something, it must be in the same case (subject).
Using US is comparing to WORDS. The dolphin can think better words than it can think us. Dolphins really don't think about us at all. See how comparison works?
Excellent try though. I still say you are you more intelligent than a dolphin.

Well, I suppose that the size of a whale's brain does not matter...Humans need to learn to respect life and stop killing the fish...

If dolphins, whales etc were as smart as you seem to think then the would probably have worked out a way to avoid being killed by humans.
