You are right about one thing. If two white guys made a movie called "Black Chicks" the African American community would be out-raged. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be up in arms. However, you are a little behind on being "out-raged" about the movie "White Chicks." The double standard does have to stop, but lets pick a battle that is a little more current. Why don't we make a movie called "Nappy Headed Ho's." When the 2 reverends show up on our doorstep we will force them to watch "White Chicks" until they die of boredom. Then we could push the double standard issue to its grave.

I've dated white guys and I'm a black girl and I think I'm fairly attractive. All the white guys on here who say they don't like black girls' cultures or their music preferences or whatever other stereotype, way to generalize! *note the sarcasm* Don't be stupid. Every person is different, it doesn't matter what color they are.Yes I'm black, but that doesn't mean I am required to listen to hip/hop or rap. I listen to rock and all kinds of stuff. Just because I'm black doesn't mean I'm required to act ghetto. As you can tell I speak very proper. And another thing. There is no "speaking white". You can't speak a race; that's extremely ignorant. I speak proper, that's the way I was raised. Doesn't make me any less black because, oh wow, my skin is still brown even though I don't speak ghetto, surprise surprise!! I can't stand white guys that automatically say no to a question like this. Have you met every single black girl in the world? You haven't. A black girl may have a flat butt, no curves, thin lips, blue eyes, and blond hair, doesn't make her any less of a black girl. So please don't say no you would never date a black girl because we don't listen to the same music or we are all ghetto and aggressive, and then turn around and say you're not racist. That makes you racist. I don't date skin colors. I date personalities and looks. I've dated a white guy for 6 years, I've dated a mexican guy, I've dated an asian guy. It doesn't matter. Don't judge people based on their skin color before you even get to know them or better yet, before you even meet them! Why can't everyone try to be color blind? You've probably already come across your soul mate and didn't even know it because they were the wrong color.

That movie was great!! I just saw it for the first time about a week ago. I'm white and I'm a chick but I'm not insulted or enraged. Those guys are funny as all hell. But you are right about the double standard. If it was 2 white guys pretending to be black chicks, then whoever made the movie would be ripped to shreds just like Don Imus. I don't think fighting the double standard will do any good. And I don't think it will go to it's grave as you put it, until something big happens. Like when the Hispanic population in the US makes up the majority of the country and takes over the political offices and things like that. Then people will have a new bunch of people to rag on if that's how they wish to spend their time.

In the 40's, there was a radio show called Amos N Andy that had 2 white guys portraying black guys. When the show went to TV in the early 50's, there were black actors who played the roles. The NAACP killed it because of the stereotypes, but all it did was put a group of black actors out of work.
Comedy is a subjective art.

I think they should make a Black Chicks movie but have the wayans direct it.. that would be funny as hell. Heck look at scary movie that had racist comments comming from both black and white POV and it came together in one funny movie. heck look at Carlos Mencia he makes fun of EVERY race out there White, Black, Native, Middle Eastern, Asian, etc it shouldn't be a problem anymore if you can't laugh at yourselves don't freakin watch it then!
