many printers today are a "plug and play" type of printers, in windows such as XP and Vista, the computer itself should notice its exestance, if it dosent then you should go to
1) controll pannel, 2) printers, 3)add printer, then choose it from a list, if its not on the list, choose something that is similar to it, or you can go to the link below and download the software
