I want to buy Italian design jewellery. Can anyone tell me where I can find a good quality jewellery store in Florence?

The best jewelleries in Florence are either on the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) or in the hystorical centre.
(Via dei Calzaiuoli, Via de' Tornabuoni,Via Vacchereccia).
It's hard for me to suggest any of them since quality level is absolutely high everywhere there-

It really depends on the taste of your lady friend, but the markets in Florence always have something wonderful. The leather is very nice, so a purse or something along those lines could be haggled down into your price range. In Italy, "No" for a vendor means "try harder." Right when you think you got them where you want them, start to walk away. You should get a better price that way. The markets have a wide assortment of goods, including scarves, stationary, leather, t-shirts (most ladies like the "Ciao Bella" ones) to very random finds and the normal tourist junk. Take a look, I hope this helps! Scott
