If the X700 supports CrossFire (ATi's version of SLi), then you should be able to link them both in CrossFire for a 1GB video RAM experience. I know the X1900 does support Crossfire, but some versions of the X700 do not support CrossFire, ask your vendor for an X700 that can be CrossFired with an X1900.
It is possible though.
I hope this helps,
Pat.

No, you can't & anyway, only the 2 same type of cards can be used in crossfire mode. You can buy a seperate max. card of 768 MB. Some 1 GB cards are available, but they are not so good.

Core and memory CLOCKSPEED is the name of the game, NOT videoram memory size.
It's very likely those two different cards will not work in a crossfire arrangement.

no, there is no way to make combine of it and get 1 Gb strength.
meanwhile the crosfire technology are making pararel two graphic card not making series combination. so in your case you can't plug another card and make it as memory ram like in motherboard.

nVidia is frequently greater proper than ATI. i don't be attentive to who mentioned that ATI became into "greater proper at something" yet it is not actual. ATi remains good, it is basically that nVidia is frequently greater proper.
