YOU need to back off and let HIM handle this. Haven't you ever seen Jerry Springer?

first of all that woman, if you want to call her that. Is a despicable person in my eyes. He needs to first petition for a D.N.A. test in a family court. Don't sign the papers, rather ask for the papers so he can see where she petitioned for the right to give up legal guardianship.
Sorry to say but this is going to be a nasty fight. She is doing this to leave the state. So he needs to jump on this as soon as possible. also he needs to go down to the hospital and sign the birth certificate soon, so she can't leave the state, cause once she leaves that is a whole other story. it will be twice is hard to get it done if she leaves.
Maybe try and reason w/ her but it sound like a woman scorned. This expletive person should think again and do what best for the child then herself she seems very immature. Good Luck and try to get custody of the child cause she's toxic to her own child. Just don't stoop to her level cause that's not gonna do any good. Always stay positive.

I went though this with my Ex husband the frist thing that needs to be done is that there needs to be test done to prove that he is the father and you can go though a laywer or if the mother is on walfare go to the walfare office and tell them that she is saying that he is the father and that you want proof also getting a lawyer to fight for parenting time is a must as well. But also know that there is childsupport that is going to come along with this if he is the father of the child.

First of all you need to get a lawyer and sue for paternity. After the results come back, if the son is his he needs to sue for a visitation and custody agreement. If this is his son then he and his son have a right to know one another.

Go to a lawyer as quick as you can and ask to get a paternity test taken. Don't let him sign anything until you find out that that's his kid! And if it turns out to be, you can probably make her change his name.
