I am considering getting married but I am not completly sure why! I have a daughter who is 4 months old and I just might be pregnant now and I was thinking marriage may just be what we need. I feel like we are already living together and raising our child so what's the point? I guess I want to know what are the benefits legally? With kids and what ever else...

Taxes, inheritance, medical decisions for yourself and the children, life insurance, the list goes on. Do you love each other?

With the kids as far as marriage goes means neither one of you has to go to court to establish parental status. Married couples automatically are the legal parent int he courts eyes ( child has to be conceived during the marriage though ).
That is all I know as far as benefits. Oh, and only if you are married can either one of you add each other to one work medical insurance. Oh and you can share his last name.

If you have questions about the marriage, maybe you want to take that as a sign to wait for the " I do's ". :)

Benefits of marriage is 50 percent of ALL of the marital assets, and you're BOTH liable for all of the bills. Neither one of you can clean out a bank account leaving the other one high and dry. When you live together if you have a joint account one of you can clean out the account and take off leaving the other one stuck with no money and ALL of the bills to pay.

How about your kids not being called bastards is that good enough for you. I don't mean any harm by that but other kids will.I no i wouldn't like it if kids were making fun of mine.To many women think it's OK to have kids out of wedlock.Do you no that the good USA is none for girls and women having baby after baby with no man in the house. It should make you a little ashamed of yourself.

if you don't know why you would get married, then it really makes no sense on why you would. you already have one kid, and might be having another, so what's the point...unless you want a stable relationship for your kids, a future for them, etc. legal things are easier if something happens to you or your spouse, inheritances, property, etc.
