I want solid evidence. Specefic occurrences. I don't want graphs showing how men make more than women. I want cold proof that a woman does not make as much money as men do for the sole reason that they are not men, the SOLE reason. I don't want to find out that the women in your examples refused to do a certain thing that the men would do. I want specefic events and evidence of discrimination. No opinion. No discussions of sentiment. I want to make this perfectly clear:

Give me some, unaltered, unabridged, credible, true evidence of a woman being discriminated against in the past 5 years for the sole reason that they were female. Cases involving people who were later punished (for it is a violation of the law) don't count.

No one's really answering the question. I didn't want generalized statements such as "men make more than women," because usually there are circumstances involved that don't have to do with gender bias, e.g. some women won't fly on business trips, etc. (this is also part of a study). I want an example of a woman, who for NO OTHER REASON but her gender, was discriminated against.

There are many stories that you can find using a simple internet search that will provide you with examples of women getting fired for being pregnant. I provide one such link. Firing someone just because they get pregnant is clear gender discrimination.

I was a mail carrier in the post office for almost 20 years. I've always had street routes (carrying mail sacks, etc) I started in PA & had to earn the respect of the men there, which I did. When I moved down south, the male supervisors would give me the tougher assignments, even though I had seniority over some of the men. It was all done within the contract, so I couldn't do anything about it. (I lost seniority because I transferred, but some of the men did, too. I should have had seniority over them & I didn't).

There is hardly discrimination existing between men and women in the US. But even after all the women movements, there is still evidence of salary discrimination. A women who has the same qualifications as a man usually gets paid less. There are several studies done about this topic and this theory proves quite reliable.

merely perchance you probably did not listen, or go with to push aside the present authorities info issued perfect now, that females universal make extra per 12 months than their husbands, have taken over extra jobs formerly held through adult males, along with all stages of structure, production, hmne progression and engineering, all intense paying jobs, plus many great cities have a quota equipment for females on tax funded jobs. would not sound like a lot discrimination to me. The consistent bytching through females managed to have urinals removed from many defense force ships.

go to Wal-Mart, look at a white blouse for women, and check the price. go over to the mens part and check the price for a white dress shirt. the mans uses more material and i bet it costs less. therefore, our market system makes them pay more for clothes.
