I'm not "too proud". I just prefer to go it alone.

I rarely ask for help. It's just ingrained. I don't think of it as being too proud, but maybe that's part of it. Mainly it stems from learning early that you can't rely on anyone but yourself, and then learning to deal with any situation as best I can.

Not that I'm too proud, but I feel like I would owe that person something. My dad taught me to rely on myself and not depend on others so much.

I'm prideful and too independent. I hate asking for help because that's all we got when my mum raised us as a single mum.

I don't want to be in that situation again.

Usually if I need help, I would ask for help it.

If I think I can do it myself, then I would give myself time to try it first. If I can't do it after trying, then I would ask.

i don't have a problem asking for help if i need it, but i usually try to do things myself...i'm pretty independent
