"Hillary, by contrast, seems to want to be more like a man in her demeanor and politics, makes few concessions to the social demands of femininity, and yet seems to be only a partial feminist. She seems above us, exempting herself from compromises women have to make every day, while, at the same time, leaving some of the basic tenets of feminism in the dust. We are sold out on both counts. In other words, she seems like patriarchy in sheep’s clothing."

We, as women, don't trust her. Power for her is more important the self pride. She stood by Bill through all the affairs public and private. All the scandals, public and private, and we all wondered the same thing. Why? Here is a highly educated women a strong speaker she sits by and take shite from Bill and his disrespect for their marriage over and over again. Now we know the answer to why. She did it for the power. She sold out strong women fleeing emotionally abusive relationships for POWER. It is disappointing. I won't vote for her. She covered up Bills crimes to benefit her political agenda. She is a sell out and should not be trusted.

Because women can't relate to her. She doesn't act like a mother, wife, working girl, girlfriend, sister, daughter, not anything that other women are. She is a politician. She does not share our concerns. Granted, that may be expecting too much, for we wouldn't expect that of a man, but, this is the first time a woman is running, and we want her to act like a woman. It doesn't matter how many pink suits she puts on, her demeanor is still harsh. It's like she believes that being feminine is a sign of weakness. And that is insulting. Women who really are strong, have no problem with being feminine.
Then there's the family thing. She not family oriented. It's like she doesn't have one. She never mentions daughter, parents, brother, relatives. Of course, I can understand why she only uses Bill when it is necessary, or in an area where he is still popular. This brings up another point, I can not respect any woman who would allow her husband to make such a public mockery of her and their marriage, just so she could use him later to help her obtain presidency.
If all of the above is not enough, I really don't think she would make a good president. My main concern, is that I don't think she would take a strong stand against terrorist. They are here to stay, and I wouldn't feel safe with anyone wishy-washy in that area.

Womens action?? Provide me a ruin, this is not the 1920's women, blacks, asians are all equal now. I'm so unwell and worn out of people speakme about how they are so oppressed, they simply tell themselves that a lot I suppose they relatively do think it. We're all free and entitled to do something we wish if we put within the proper quantity of labor. Its the people who whinge about these matters which might be the humans who do not make it. So as to all of the Rosie Odonnels, Jessy Jackson's and Al Sharptons available in the market, get a life, occasions have modified you're no longer oppressed. EDIT: How in regards to the rates of working women and affairs? Supply me a spoil, it has nothing to do with opression -In what way might a female president have any outcomes on abusive husbands... Get me a greater argument.. Oh wait you can't!! Get a lifestyles. How about we appear at other information, such because the quantity of women with tuition levels and the quantity of females in the personnel, if you question me i'd say its pretty equal. 2d Edit: coming from anyone who thinks that husbands abusing their spouse way females are opressed and no longer in the workforce, i'm not too offended.. Keep considering like that, given that you do not have me pondering.. You have got me laughing =D goodnight

I have yet to find one woman that say they will vote for her, I have not asked about hate since that is such a strong negative "emotion" I try to avoid it.

Let me count the ways
Trust - clitoon has shown clearly through her life since 1992 that she cannot be trusted, she has lied repeatedly and been caught in those lives, she is a lawyer and has managed to escape conviction so far, but in the public mind she is guilty of many, many crimes.
Power Hungry - her entire relationship with her husband has been about power and control, it is obivous to the casual observer and I believe this is the key point, women do not feel comfortable with someone that is ruthlessly power hungry
Immoral - ties with lies and crimes, most women I know have a strong moral compass, stronger than most men, intuitively they know what is the right thing and they know this women does or will not do the right thing, that she has no moral compass.

I know there are many other reasons but believe they would just be subsets to the three I listed.

I do not believe or trust in polls, but for those that do, the polls clearly indicate some very key points. One, she might possibly get the nomination, not a sure thing at this point. Two, if she gets the nomination she will not win the general election, it is numerically impossible if 85% of the polling numbers are correct. Three, she is the most polaring individual on the public stage, more dislike her than like her, more say they will not vote for her regardless of who she is running against.

My question has always been why does she continue to run, which leads back to the power hungry point. Why do the democrats not try to pull her back since it is clear she is a great weakness in their plan for world domination.

Hillary doesn't seem to have much of a personality and
her politics suck. As the First Lady she promised Health
Care and didn't deliver and now that she is running for
President she has started that speech up. she also says
pull the troops out of Iraq and then says that she would keep
a military presence there.

I remember a poll that was taken a month of so back and
if memory serves me correctly more than 50% of the married
women would not vote for her.

I'm an Independent and I don't see anyone on either side
that I would vote for today but Hillary has no chance at
all of getting my vote, not even for dog catcher

I'm a woman and I don't hate her. Don't generalize. There are many men who don't like the male candidates either. I think Hillary is a strong-willed woman who doesn't like to be pushed around by anyone. As far as the scandal with Bill, she handled it the way she was supposed to, privately and with him only. What a fiasco if she had brought in the media. Hilary in 08.

I think hate is too strong of a word.
But repulsive and disgusted is more appropriate.
I don't trust her,I don't like her,and I wish she would ride off into the sunset with her so called hubby and disappear.
She will do ANYTHING to rise to power and I do mean anything.
Nothing better get in her way or she will see to it that it doesn't again.
You could be the most evil person in the world and if she thinks you could contribute to her quest for power you will immediatly become her newest bestest friend.
It makes me want to puke.
I think she is capable of doing whatever she thinks she can get away with to become President of the United States.
That's why I don't like her.
She's corrupted and polluted.
Power and money is all she cares about.

She lost me a long time ago with the "It takes a village" (to raise a child) thing. It doesn't take a village, it takes a parent, preferably two if possible. Her marriage to Bill seems to be one of convenience, used solely for political power and influence. She does nothing to promote pro-family ideals. She is disingenuous and fake. I see her as an elitist snob with nothing to offer 98% of Americans.

Hillary Clinton disgraced her position as First lady ..being the first one one ever indicted . She sets women's rights back 100 years every time Bill molests another woman ; and Hillary uses her gestapo tactics to obstruct justice and demoralize Clinton's victims .Hillary is like the top ten wanted list all rolled into one .And who , disguised as a U.S. senator - thinks she is above the law , and that she can wave questions away like others swat flies ..while she has her hands in everything from illegal campaign funds to bank loan / land deal scams ..while many who have the misfortune to do business with her - end up doing the time , as well . She bullied her way into Al Gore's VP office-and took it as her own ; bullied her way to sit in on private meetings with foreign dignitaries in the Clinton White House ..and when poor Vince Foster committed suicide under the pressure she put him under ..covering her tracks and keeping up with his own job .. Hillary had his office rifled and private papers shredded before the body was barely cold . She deliberately conned large campaign contibutions , illegally from men she later pretended not to know ..when caught - and - just like she did when she messed up in the White House - she turned the blame around on innocent people . I can't do your question the justice it deserves ..because these things barely touch the surface on why women loath Hillary Clinton ..But , imagine , if you will ..a president who forbids others..whether secret service or FBI or any White House employee to look her in the eye when passing..or anyone in American politics , for that matter(as she did in the Clinton White House) -and who states publically ..that Americans have "too much free speech ". CHILLING .

Try using the word "some" more often.

Your "question" suggests "all."

"Some" women may dislike her, dear. No big surprise. And a lot of women do like her and will vote for her.

If you want to have an intelligent discussion about Hillary, why not contact Elway the Cat?

I'm sure she would gladly talk about Hillary with you; without any spitting, hissing and hair pulling.
