I live in a good neighborhood but yet my house has been vandalized more times then I can count. Everything from toilet papering to written messages on the driveway. Egging numerous times and etc. It is so annoying ( I'm practically paranoid now) and I have no idea who is doing this! It has to be the same people right? It happened last night again, someone scribbled mustard all over the porch)! We told the police but since there is no proof to who did it, they can't do anything. Also, no significant damage to property has been done. But, still this can't go on forever! I have to do something. Any ideas for catching the culprit????!!! Thanks!

get one of those wireless video cams...set them up around your house ...then you can catch those little f**ckers.and have proof...they sell those nice little cams at like meijers or radio shack for around 80 bucks...they come in color and have audio...they come with a monitor too all you need is a VHS recorder..

Pay some teenagers $20 to sit out there and stake out with some baseball bats and BB guns or paintball guns. It's cheaper than mini cams and the crooks won't get away. Next time they do it let the teenagers work out some of that pent up aggression they all have, plus when the cops show up you'll have the suspects for them already save them some work to.

You need to set up cameras and catch them in the act. From what you said, I would guess a bunch of teenagers are responsible. Another possibility is the use of motion lights, lights that turn on when there is activity. This may deter them.

have one pitbull dog in your house and one also outside. put more lights outside surrounding your house for visibility purposes, light is a deterrent for burglars. dogs are better than guns, they will not sleep while you are sleeping. guns are of no use if you are not around. try it. i tell you it will really work.

Mini-cams. Hide them around and hook them to security type VCRs.

Or move.
