Honestly, If Angelina was "fat and ugly" I really doubt that anyone would care that she was doing selfless things. Many, many people out there have been doing what she's been doing (creating her own personal UN by adopting babies from all over the place, doing volunteer work, etc) for ages and ages before she has but it's the fact that she's this glamorous, beautiful movie star breaking out of the norm and doing something selfless that draws people to watching her. As sad as it may be, it is because she is beautiful and doing something different that we are all enthralled and fascinated by her.
