Have you looked at the Australian War Memorial Web Site ?
http://www.awm.gov.au/

I know last night I was looking a site that showed many Pictures of those who served in WW1 but i Haven't come across one that is solely dedicated to WW2 vets.

Also .. try typing into a search engine "australian ww2 veterens" in an image search .. ( will try other variations myself to see if I can bring some pics up)

EDIT : try this site ... http://ahoy.tk-jk.net/ and if you email the man who runs this site he may be able to direct you.

There is also Picture Australia http://www.pictureaustralia.org/ , which has a searchable index of many photos.
