Your pharmacy should have containers for them. You may have to purchase one, & then you could use it to transport it to your doctor (or local hospital)who should be willing to dispose of them for you.
You may also want to call your county health dept. They may have containers available for free for you to use.

You should be able to take it to any hospital, or doctor's office that has hazardous waste. They could handle it for you. If you have city sanitation, call them and ask. They can tell you how or when to get rid of it. good luck
