No, wondering what could have been stops you from enjoying what is or solving it.
I don't waste too much time on the past except when it means remembering things that make me smile or feel someone who has left a bit closer.

When I was younger, I lived by 2 things. One, no regrets, two, if I'm not happy, change it. Now that I've gotten older I realize something. Everybody has regrets wether they realize it or not. Part of building character is actually realizing those things you did that you regret and then learning from them. Not only learning from them but you carry those with you and those things change your response, your character, because now you know, or at least learned that you're not perfect, you may have let that perfect person go or let that great job slip away, so what. What are you going to do next time?

All the time, there are so many things I wish I had done different, but then I can't go back and change them or I may not have my wonderful children

Sometimes, but then I probably wouldn't be the person I am now. And I kind of like who I've become :) But yeah, I wonder -who doesn't?

Oh my gosh, you don't even know. There are so many things that have either happened to me in my life or that I have done. What if it hadn't happened or I hadn't done it, would I be a different person, be in a better place and have a better life? I ask myself that almost every day.
