how much will it cost to get a compression and leakdown test for my engine?

Check for someone with a dynanometer. They can do it the cheapest.

If you go to a auto parts store and buy a test gage remove 1 spark plug at a time and turn the ignition over after disabling the ignition system (i.e. remove the fuel injector fuse or unplug the coil or coils. and check the gage after each plug has been removed and the gage installed. It will save you a lot of money. A Chilton's manual will give you an acceptable range for the pressure to be at. It is not as hard as it sounds.

leakdown test? is a racing engine?
You sound to fancy for hyundai

for compression test You have to remove ALL the spark plugs.( don't try this at home should be done by a pro-mechanic) is not that simple. and many safety is involve.

I encourage everybody to try to do mechanics at home .but not on this case.
