That my kids are safe before I go to bed. Call me overprotective but I can't sleep until I know my babies are sleeping well.

i ALWAYS double check my zipper after going to the restroom sometimes 3 times. i believe it to be one of the dumbist mistakes. its not like forgeting your key cause you expect then to be somewhere else...or walking out of the house and forgeting to turn something off that you were using 20 mi. ago. how is it possible to pull up your pants and button the top but not zip the zipper. where does one get lost between the pants and the button. is there a short cut an therefor we bypass the whole area? its a wonder ive spent time on. :)

I usually check that I've ended a cellphone call before I start talking about the person I was just on the phone to.

Everything, ugh!
Spelling, lights, stove, door locks, thermostat, did I feed the animals, are my headlights off. It's really quite exhausting sometimes. However, I don't lose my keys or anything of that nature because I do tend to be very thorough with details like that.
It doesn't interfere with my daily life so I do not have OCD. I'm just a really detail oriented virgo.
Okay, you can all laugh at me now :)

If I did my homework and didn't forget anything.
My mom double checks if the stove is off and the doors are locked before she goes to bed.

I check for many things once. But I have this "iron phobia" :-), that I sometimes wonder about my sanity :-)
I always have to check it before I leave the house, once, twice, three times......sometimes I even call home when I am already out of the house :-) Crazy, I know.

my math work when I'm at work (some numbers have a bad habit of changing places on me), the door locks at night, and the time on my cell phone, and pocket watch
