The President does not win or lose a war. The military does that. The politicians add to the defeat or victory by the actions they take in the halls of congress, the military leaders should stand up more for the troops in the field. Instead of having to be grilled by congress set up groups, the military leaders should set up some meetings of there own. Not in a mutinous way but a very professional informative town hall for the voters to see and hear from them instead of life long politicians who wouldn't know a bullet from a combat boot. Even some of the so called ex-military. America's Military could and can win any war if they were able to direct the war by military means. The politicians have tried to make the military a big police dept. That is what gets our soldiers wounded and killed in this generation.
The politicians can't even stop illegal immigration, how do you think they can win a war.

The military won the war very quickly. The war has been over for years, right now they are operating as a police force. So that the oil and money can remain stable, hats off to those soldiers who are trying to do it with one hand tied behind their back.

Well as far as the Iraq war went (Hussein is out and gone for good) I'd give him a 10.
Now as far as how well his military advisors have handled the situation of Iran and Syria meddling with in Iraq. 4

7, his administration has made mistakes and failed to bring a decisive end to it. But we are there and need to finish the job, unfortunately. I think Bush was handed a bad bag of cra* from "bury it billy".

I wish people would realize that the Iraq police action is way down on the list of importance.

1: Free Trade with 3rd World Nations
2: Protecting our boarders against illegal entry
3: Providing cost effective health care for all Americans
4: Breaking monopolies withing huge Multinational corporations
5: Reorganizing the welfare system
6: Bringing an rational solution to the police action in Iraq
7: Bringing the cost of higher education within reach of the average American and restructuring the primary and secondary school systems

Well the war is still being fought after all this time and it doesn't look like it's going to be over any time soon either.
But I wonder,
If President Bush had to pay for this war with HIS own money instead of ours would he still want to do it?Would he still want to champion a war if the cost for doing so came out of his own pocket?
As it stands our great grand children will still be paying for this. But will Bush's descendants feel the financial blow our children will suffer?
To him and people like him our children are no better than 'herd' there to be slaves and do what's expected of them.
So I give Bush a 1.

-1, he couldn't manage a baseball team, or find oil in Texas, he did manage to get his records expunged about his AWOL with the air national guard, he did promise all his cronies a job in his administration, and none were any more qualified for their job than he was. Bush blundered the invasion and occupation of Iraq, it's now a fiasco and a Civil War, where we are losing the democracy for the Iraqis and ours isn't looking to well here in America either.

From a neocon Halliberton stock owning conservative rating, he has to have a rating of 10 out of 10. He successfully invaded and occupies a strategic places in the Middle East and has his hands on valuable oil resources and a great market for weapons and a great source for opium. He has setup laws that allow for greater control of the domestic and international populations including invasion of privacy and reduced rights of the average citizen. The CIA has earned an A+ with this performance.

From an average American perspective, we can expect inflation because of excessive spending and a lower standard of living as wealth and power is transferred to the very, very wealthy stock holders. From an average Joe perspective, he has earned a 1 rating.

As well as can be expected considering the furious constant opposition from the terrorist allies in al-congress and the neo-communist propaganda mills that masquerade as news media in this beleaguered country.
