gas began to steadily increase when Bush became our President?It just seems to me that that's when gas became sooooo expensive and is continuing to become so ever year.Do you think when his final term is up our crazy gas prices will go back to normal?Do you think we should ever vote for another oil tycoon to be our President?Have we learned from this mistake or hasn't anybody figured it out yet?

Don't blame Bush for that.
The money brokers found a formula to use to raise prices.
Hurricane season= prices increase a little
Hurricane headed towards oil rigs= prices go up
Saudis foil plot to blow up oil rigs= prices go up
labor day comes around=prices go up
tidal wave in indonesia= prices go up
dems win majority in congress=prices go up
Any little thing that creates (unstability) =prices go up.
Bush would want prices to go down, so that we would drive more.
Pretty soon, the high prices are going to hit the economy,hard.
everything will be much more expensive. stock up on canned goods now!

I think hilpac had it right ,,she said when hell freezes,,,no she said when she is president ,,(oh well) she said she will go to exxon and take all that profit back and spread it around,,,do you believe any of that bull droppings???????
yes lets go to every stockholder that has shares in oil and gas and tell them,,we are sorry but we need all your profits for the last 8 years,, we are going to redistribute them

in 1974 I was selling gas for 17 cents a gallon,,in 1975 I sold gas for 1.50 plus and had no problem doing it,,,
,, the oil companies have been raping us for 40 years and the bad thing is ,,,we cant do a blasted thing about it,,,except piss and moan

Seems people tend to forget that gasoline went from $1.00 a gallon to $2.00 a gallon under Clinton.
Guess he was just helping his Oil buddies, huh?
Trying to link the Bush families little oil wildcat operation to Big Oil,
Is like trying to link a kids lemonade stand to the McDonald's corporation.
Heck, Exxon makes more money in one day from oil, than the Bush family has made since Bush Sr drilled his first oil well in the late 40's.
But then, I guess they think Bush and Hugo Chavez are buddies, so that's why Venezuela is selling oil for twice as much as they were 6 years ago.

In answer to your question, no. I can remember a time when gasoline was $.35 a gallon. Sorry sweetie, you can't blame Georgie Porgie for everything. So, just don't you worry your pretty litte head... And for the record, I think you'll find, Jimmy Carter holds the record for the most inflation we've ever seen. I could be wrong on this, but I suspect I'm not... And, HE is a liberal democrat!

No new refineries
No drilling offshore
No drilling in Alaska

continued heavy dependence on foreign oil

Just pile on the president. Everything is his fault. He just goes to his wizard of Oz chamber and declares crude oil prices most go up.
Has our high schools failed so miserably in teaching young people anything about civics and government?
