When you are old and look back, what can you say you accomplished in life for others and yourself?

That I am a realist...
That I do not view the world as black and white...
That I accept that life doesn't always have a happy ending...and that I am okay with that.
That before I condemn the President of the United States I would have at least tried to live in his shoes...
That I acknowledge evil...and that evil does exist.
That I am not naive...
That I a believe in my own will...
That I do not blame others for the troubles that life has given me.
That I have loved and have no desire to be loved.
That it is not the color of my skin that determines who I am.
'I' determine who I am.
That I believe in personal responsibility...
That I am not perfect...
That I have hated, loved, discriminated, been biased, cared, sympathize, forgave...
That I am human...
That I fear God...
That there are some people in life who just don't get it....and I am not one of them.
I am conservative.

I'm neither liberal nor conservative. Hopefully when I grow old I will be able to look back and say that I had done my best to improve the lives of all those I had contact with. Although I know it sounds cheesy, that is truly what I hope for.

I think when you're young you tend to be more liberal. As you age, you become more conservative.. I have always been on the conservative side but more so now.
As far as what I did for others and myself..... Well I guess God has the scorecard.

I'm a diehard and devout longtime liberal and proud to say so. I can say when I get older that I tried to make a difference in everything I did, whether it be politically, socially, environmentally, or whatever. If you really care, you will try to make a difference in all you do................
