I saw him on Bill Mayer. He is a Ohio governer running for president. I really liked what he had to say. He is big on Peace, universal medical insurance, and of course was against the war from the start. He ranks very low, I believe, because no one heard of him. Anyone else have anything to say about him

Dennis is many things, but he is NOT Ohio's governer.

He is actually a representative from Ohio. This is his third run for the presidency, and he tends to lean way way way way way way toward the left end of wierd.

He gives fruit cakes a bad name.

This is an editorial in the Cleveland Plain Dealer from July 2005. Cleveland.com no longer has it, but this is the same article from another source. It talks about how useless Dennis Kucinich really is to his constituents. Just think of how scathing this article would have been if the Plain Dealer wasn't a liberal newspaper.

And he has been such a crackpot all these years that now with a Democratic majority, even Democrats want nothing to do with him.

He was a failure as Cleveland's mayor and State Representative and still is a failure as their congressman. In 2004, less than 5% of congresspersons missed more votes than Kucinich did. As a resident of a neighboring district, I find it amazing that he keeps getting re-elected. There's a reason he's been known for years as the "Boy Blunder."

Last year, Kucinich opposed the Coast Guard's training exercises on Lake Erie because it would raise the lake's levels of lead. It was proven that it would take 68 years of constant training exercises for them to have even the slightest effect on the lead levels. But the facts don't mean anything to Kucinich. In the meantime, we have two nuclear power plants on the Lake Erie coastline, and our Coast Guard can't practice defending them. Lake Erie, being the shallowest Great Lake, is the most turbulent. This type of training can't be duplicated anywhere else. Is this a man I want to trust with our national security? I don't think so!

Do I really need to go on?

Kucinich is not popular but has good intentions for the country.
Kucinich has many supporters but not favored by partymates due to lack of influence.

well he started as mayor of the city of Cleveland and now, he represents as a congress man. one of the most liberal parts of the city. he took Mary Rose Oakaras seat. mayor he faced a recall election( his administration helped making Cleveland the butt of many jokes across the country). he sounds cool if you listen to him for 5 minutes listen to him for 15 and you will be wondering if he forgot his medicines.
