The sounds of nature: wind, rain, birds singing, waves, etc.
My mom's laughter...I don't hear it too often.
Anytime someone has told me they love me.
Pretty much every song I love...too many to list here.

The flute solo in the song "Inchon" is probably the most beautiful sound that I have ever heard. Anyone that has heard it in person would probably know what I am talking about. When the song is preformed on stage (especially if you are in the band/orchestra preforming it), the sound of the flute before and after the battle truly shows that, no matter how the earth may seem to be chaos at one point, it will always eventually become peacefull and serene again (with or without people there to see it).
P.S. I wonder how many people actually have ever heard of INchon and how many people will find out what it is afterward...

1). Sounds related to my religion - mantras, hymns, etc.
2). The sound of a conch shell being blown. Have you ever heard this? It is an AMAZING sound!
3). The sound of a flowing river. Water is so peaceful.
4). Laughter

real laughter
the clear sound of running water in a stream
the waves pounding
birds in the morning
leaves rustling in a gentle breeze
the sound of music that you play in an orchestra while you are in the very middle of it, being a part of it, hearing the melody and harmony together like that, in the middle, while the music comes out of your own instrument, too.
I love all those sounds... they're wonderful.

More than one beautiful sound, just can't be one. Birth of children, when grandchildren learn to speak and say "Grandma", newborn puppies, wind chimes, wild birds at sunrise and hearing a child's laughter.

One early Saturday morn i was awakened by the sound of my daughter (five years old at that time) singing outside my bedroom window to her dolls. she was just making it up as she went along . she is twenty one now but she still does that when she thinks she is alone or gets caught off guard. every once in a while she will sing in the choir and when she does everyone is breathless but she says she dose not want to be a superstar, but she is mine. I compare her to Mariah Cary .just a little softer. and i like the sound of wind chimes all kind i had so many that i had a neighbor that was a Veitnam vet. he told my husband that they drove him crazy at night so we took the loud ones down .

Ok I am a mom and I am going to say the sound of my newborn son crying because when my daughter my first child was born she wasn't crying or anything she was gray. She is fine now but that was scary and it was such a relief when my second child was crying before I even saw him.

Rain. The sound of a light rain splattering on the porch, heavier rains, seemingly drilling into the ground, and the slanting, lashing rains during a storm, with the wind whipping through the banana trees outside my house.
