Several ways to do this Ms. Jasmine, but the easiest (for me) is to set this up so the numerator is larger than the denominator, and the magnitude is taken care of by a power of 10. We can "move" the decimal point of 0.124 two places right to get 12.4x10-2. Put this over 6.2, and we have 2x10-2 = n or n= 0.02. Both of these are equivalent and correct.

Think about what the "12" in 0.124 divided by the "6" in 6.20 is... 2, right? So your answer will be close to 0.02 (notice that 0.02 × 6.20 = 0.124)

When you multiply 6.20 by 0.02 you'll get .124 whose difference with 0.124 is nil, so you're done!
