I've heard, its a good idea, to buy stocks, that are on sale. does anybody know, where I can find them?

That is a term that means that the stock is undervalued. You need to get a good book that will tell you exactly which numbers to look at to know if the stock is selling for less than it's worth.

Honestly, regardless of what answers you get for this, Yahoo Q&A is the /last/ place I would go for financial advice. Do you really want to trust your hard-earned money to people who, for all you know, didn't even finish high school? Talk to a stock broker or someone equally knowledgeable on the issue, that way if you lose money, you won't feel like you got screwed by some anonymous person on a computer.

Stocks are traded on an exchange or in a market place.

NYSE or NASDAQ are examples in the US.

Open an account with a respectable broker

E-trade, Scottrade etc are examples.

They also have educational information on the stock markets and how to trade etc.
