I have left money in an envelope for a church to help out...
I also left food for a poor family...
I left toys for a poor family at Christmas...
I sent engraved pencils to a church once...
I sent cards and obits cut out of the paper to people who lost their loved ones...
I have given money and food to those homeless that have stood on street corners...

I think that is what a "true" gift is!
I have done this many times for different people, mostly kids but a couple of struggling families also, and I feel really good when I do.
