First this scripture is Not talking about Jesus, but that's what happens when they Remove Jehovah God's name from the bible and replace it with titles. It reads...Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. 10 Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be discovered. So you have to realize you answered your own question, he doesn't want any to perish, evidently the inocent children would/could be ressurected, the ones that will perish are those talked about at Hebrews 10:26 26 For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.
