Could some kind person out there please help out a poor simple Irishman and educate him in the abbreviations used on here I'm sitting here feeling sooo foolishly ignorant(my usual state) when tryiing to decipher the meaning of them.So if there's a list somewhere please direct me to it so I can become enlightened.......

I don't even know them all, but the ones I see the most are:
btw - by the way
ppl - people
bf - boyfriend
gf - girlfriend
If you see any others, just ask. If anyone gives you a tough time about it, just ignore them.

As for the good part ... not so sure. Had 4 hours sleep, it's 4.30am now and i am doing a car boot sale at 7.30. So no point in going back to bed. I'll be knackered by midday though.
