Well, I guess that I'll be a sheep also and jump on the Walmart bash wagon. I can't possibly understand why anybody would though.

Compared to companies of the world, Walmart ranks number 1 in "GNP"; it also ranks # 17 as compared to countries of the world!

Almost 100% of Walmart's products are made in some country other than the US.

Walmart has single handedly destroyed India's indigenous populations economic structure and after doing so continues to support and promote economic slavery as well as massive human rights violations.

Walmart pays its employees the lowest wages of any of the retail chains and promotes White males at a rate of 5:1 over women or other protected class workers.

The 4 main owners of Walmart contribute less than $6,000 per year even though their gross worth is in the billions, to employee aid programs; a program which collected 17 million from the employees themselves in 2006.

Walmart moves into an area, kills the competition by underselling then destroys the wage base and raises prices back to where they can make a nice profit.

Walmart has a record of getting rid of employees before they reach their vested goal preventing them from collecting their retirement funds.....Need I go on?

Supporting Walmart is supporting everything that is wrong with this country. Free Trade with 3rd world nations, discrimination, fraud in dealing with employees investment plans, greed and avarice.

Rest easy though cause you saved $1.12 on the big box of detergent!

Walmart is the most successful retailer in America. How is that for sucking?

You must be a union member, or silly little college student.

I know if I say because they don't have a union you'll give me ten points. But Walmart is not that bad ... City planning boards should do better by not allowing to many competing type stores in close proximity. If they did that and had a clue about urban planning walmart would have a place and small mom and pop stores would still thrive.

I love Walmart! They may be underhanded in some of their business practices, but you can't beat their prices!

walmart sucks because they require their suppliers to lower prices by 5% every year. imagine what this does to wages and jobs. or, don't imagine, look around.

plus, they keep millions in slave labor in china.

they are the only people in town, however, who routinely stock the medicines my dog desperately needs. it's how i ended up there recently, after years of boycotting (not much impact!)

Everything you buy from there breaks. Then you go back and buy more stuff made in China.

Sam Walton was a genius!
