Its 10.00 am here and my neighbour's dog is howling. Do dogs howl at the sun too?

It comes from their wolf ancestors. Their howls are different, and are used for various reasons ranging from danger, to food, to misc. And actually there is a huge misconception. They don't really howl at the moon or the sun. It only used for communication
