ok this is what happend - it happend on Thursday

My language arts teacher wasn't at school today so we had a substitute teacher. and we were about to leave the class. and i was one of the last ones out of the door. and these 4 girls kept telling me to take these suckers out of my teachers desk because i was sitting in her chair. so i did, because they kept telling me to. but, i got caught from the substitute and i'm the only one who got into trouble. and i don't think this is fair. and all i took was 2. and i never even ate them or anything. and this other girl she took handfuls but, she got caught too and she got an in-school suspension on friday when our teacher found out. well because i didn't go to school friday because i was sick. and i'm scared to go to school on monday because I CAN NOT get an in-school suspension. I am a very good kid. but, i was just pressured into it. should i tell her i was pressured into it because i was and give her the candy back? i fell soooo guilty!

Let me just tell you this. This may not help you any but I just want to tell you my situation. Last Tuesday my langauge arts teacher (i'm in 7th grade) was completley out of line, my friends were talking and disrupting the class ALOT. I said one thing and got sent to the back table, there was about 5 mins. of class left so I laid my head down. She came storming over there and yelled "NO SLEEPING IN MY CLASSROOM!...GO TO THE OFFICE!" So she followed me out the door and to the office. Started telling the office secritaries all this stuff about me disrupting the class and sleeping. In my school if we get in trouble we have to run "martin meters" (alot of them.) The principal says "if you have enough energy to disrupt the class then you'll have to tun it off" So obviously in his mind laying my head down on the table is disrupting the class and takes alot of evergy. I stood up to him and told him I wasn't gonna run. So I got three days of In school suspension, I served two days Wedsday and Thursday, I was sick friday so when I go to school tomorrow I will have to make up my last day, so I will just get through it. Also my principal in MY UNCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

No wonder you were sick on Friday. Probably stress.

Anyway, here's what I'd recommend. Admit you were wrong. Say very plainly what happened, including that some other kids pressured you. I wouldn't tell who they were, however. Simply say that you now know that it's best to resist pressure and use your own judgment.

If they suggest a suspension offer to do any kind of punishment that won't (1) get put on your record, and (2) interfere with your class attendance. Emphasize that this is a first offense, you admit responsibility, and are terribly, terribly sorry. Offer to come in and do community service every Saturday morning from now 'til the end of the school year in exchange for keeping it off your record. Have a parent come with you to back you up.

They are most concerned that you know what you did was wrong. If you admit that up front and offer to make amends, they will likely go easier on you. Having your parent there will keep them more fair.

The thing to do now is to tell your folks, which I'm guessing you haven't done. Do this tomorrow. Then develop a plan together. Good luck. If you make a reasonable plan, and visualize it working out, it will likely go your way.

I'm going into my senior year in high school don't worry you'll find your niche. One of the best things about high school is that there's so many people that even 'loners' find other 'loners' and then they're not so alone :] it's a time when us kids are going through a lot so people change all the time and groups shift and geeks become popular and popular kids turn goth and so on and so forth. High school is a great opportunity to grow socially and try a whole bunch of new things so just walk in like you own the place because honestly everyone there is scared too and within a few weeks it will all be totally different. In high school everyone wants to be friends with everyones so just say hi to the person sitting next to you in your 1st period, ask them what middle school they went to. Also joining sports teams or clubs is really great cause you also meet upperclassmen. But the important thing is once you find you're core group of friends (which you will because everyone does) don't waste time on the silly drama and just have fun and try new things. Just make sure to enjoy it because before you know it it'll be gone! I'm actually dreading the start of school because I'm scared of it ending!

Sorry to say but life isn't fair.

You should just go to school and tell the truth. Since you are a good kid, your language arts teacher will probably understand.

Just think of this as a life lesson. Make a freeze frame of that moment and recall back to it the next time you get pressured into doing anything you don't want to or something that goes against your believes.

I think you should tell her exactly what happened. I know you feel really guilty. First of all you need to get this clear, you can always say no when someone ask you to do something especially if it is wrong. Tell your teacher about what happened and ask her if she is going to give you an in-school-suspension. Tell her that you would not do it again and I think you should apologize to your real teacher and you substitute teacher for what you did.

I think that you should go to school and tell the teacher about how you were pressured into doing it, and give her the suckers back. Make sure that she sees that you are really sorry about it though. Ask if there is anything you can do to make it up without having to be suspended. Hope everything turns out okay.

1. Never give into peer pressure like that.

2. Forget that she's a mean teacher

3. Tell the truth! If you tell her the truth and appologize, what could happen.

4. Tell your mom if that doesn't work.

5. Hopefully, the sub didn't tell the teacher about your two and you won't get in trouble at all.

Good luck.

Honesty is the best policy, However, it does not always get you out of trouble. I would go to the teacher very first thing on Monday morning before anything else and tell your teacher you did a stupid thing and apologize for it. If she accepts your apology then great, if she still punishes you then you learn from this mistake and move on. Good Luck

Can't run from it forever. Maybe she won't go so hard on you if you only took two. Did U give them back? I'm not sure how saying you were pressured into it will help, but it might. Idk.

Let this be a lesson in peer pressure. Resist peer pressure. It will keep U out of trouble.

Give the cany back & apologize. Even though you were pressured, you're still the one that took it, so the other girls are not to blame. You should learn to stand up for yourself & not fall under pressure. As you get older, there's going to be a lot more pressure to do a lot of things, you have to learn to deal with it & not cave into it. Sorry, but you're just going to have to go to school & own up to it.
