Okay so here are the last few games I bought: Chocobo Tales, Wario, Mario Party Advance, Cake Mania. I want something new and, fortunately, my boyfriend is going to buy something for me. But i really don't want Pokemon, I'm just not into it. It doesnt have to be a new game, just something sort of like those I just bought. I like mini-games within, but it doesnt really matter. And I'm a girl, so I don't want boring fighting games or anything like that.

dragonquest heroes: Rocket Slime
---------
awesome game

you are a slime, named rocket, who must rescue 100 other slimes to rebuild the town

the levels have a number of puzzles

there is also a sense of collection, because the stuff that you ship back to town can be used in tank battles as ammo, or if you send back a number of the same type of bad guy, they can be used as a tank crew member

Hello, I own a DS myself, and a ton of games, thanks to my boyfriend. From what you have, I would really suggest:

Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. It's a cute puzzle game where if you are a perfectionist would take a long time to get gold stars for every stage, and there are mini games for each of the level.

Animal Crossing: Wild World, it's fun and takes time to play since it operates on a real time line. The little thing you have to do in the games makes it all worth while when you pay off you debts and get a gold statue of you in town.

Bomberman is also a good game, if you look at it, the whole game is a mini game, granted it's a short game but you could connect with you boyfriend and bomb the doodoo out of him.

Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. are also really good games, they have lots of mini games to play by yourself or with other people.

And if you don't have Rayman: Raving Rabbids on the Wii, get it on the DS if you like bunny shooting craziness! It's fun to watch how the bunnies act, the graphic may not be as good, it's still a really fun game to waste time on!

And if you don't have it yet, NintenDogs in any version is always a hit! Just the training and caring alone makes the game fun, not to mention the naming process!

Hope you find this helpful.

Well, if you like mini-games, i suggest 'New Super Mario Bros." There are soooo many mini-games and the game itself and if your boyfriend has a ds, you guys can play together in the minigames which gets pretty intense haha. I got nintendogs but it gets boring after a while so maybe you wouldn't like that. hope this helps!

I'm REALLY enjoying Puzzle Quest right now myself, but you may like Animal Crossing: Wild World based on some of the games you like (and your female orientation :) ).

If you can find it really cheap (because the game itself is pretty short) Feel The Magic is a good one.
