My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for about two months, my last period was started on late in the day on April 9th and ended on the 13th. My periods seem to start normally around the 8th or 9th, the latest it has ever started was the 12th. We had sex, earlier in the day on the 9th and soon after it stopped, and also since then of course. Anyhoo, last night the 26th, I began to feel a little nauseated and went I went to the bathroom there was this dark brownish looking blood in my underwear and when I wiped there was just a little, very light reddish/pinkish blood on the toilet paper, and then nothing else? I’ve heard people talk about implantation bleeding, could this be what this is? Could I be pregnant? If not, what could this be? How long should I wait to take a test?
I’ve never bled in the middle of the month before. And my cycles vary from about 26 days to 28 days. I also noticed that after I eat I start to feel really queasy/nauseated. Anyone have a clue?

Sure you could be. Take a home pregnancy test as soon as it says you're able (read the box some say 5 days before your period is due, I believe). In any case, since you're trying to conceive, you should already be behaving as though pregnant by taking a pre-pregnancy multivitamin (will particularly include enough folic acid), getting enough sleep, eating very healthy, exercising, and abstaining from alcohol, smoking and any other unhealthy activities. Honestly, since you're trying, I wouldn't freak out every month. You'll wind up spending a lot of money on the most current pregnancy test each month, sometimes more than one. Just wait it out. If you're in good health you'll likely be pregnant soon. Once you're a few days past a missed period you can take the least expensive pregnancy test and get an accurate result.

FWIW, when I was trying to conceive, my periods started up to 7 days late every month, probably due to the stress of hoping. Also, when I was trying NOT to conceive, my periods would start late too, likely the stress of worrying about being pregnant.

You could try testing now but if you get a negative I would re-test when your period is due again because it may be too early to pick up on it. It could be implantation bleeding. Food aversions were a big thing for me when I was pregnant and they started nearly straight away. Pregnancy is definately a possibility. Congrats if you are.

That sounds like when I had my implantation bleeding, at first I thought I was just spotting but ti was only the one time.

You may still have to wait to take a HPT,, heres a good informative site to get the facts on when to test

Good Luck!!

I would say ask your doctor to send you for the blood test. They are supposed to be able to detect hormones before the home pregnancy tests.

You are probably pregnant. Talk to your doctor or look up some early pregnancy symptoms.
