The pits are yours - shave them if you want. No reason to not shave them. Don't worry about anyone else and whether they do or do not shave their armpits. Doesn't ake long - 30 seconds tops if you do it whilein the shower. Go for it. NO - you are not gay based on shaving your armpits. But who knows, maybe you are for other reasons. Is there anything wrong with being gay? I think not if that is the way you are.

You're only gay if you are sexually attracted to other guys and not to females. What you do with your various kinds of hair or what you wear does not make you gay.

I'd say "dumb." This is a very sensitive area, one nick or cut could lead to cellulitis which could put you in the hospital.
