I'm working towards a degree in pharmacy and I heard that it is a very prestigious school to get into. Does anyone know if JH has a pharmacy program?

John Hopkins does not have a pharmacy program. The ACPE has a list of all pharmacy programs in the U.S. Pharmacy is a profession where no one cares about where you went to school.

Pharmacology will most likely lead you into either the academic or industry sectors of pharmacy. To practice in any pharmacy you need to be a licensed pharmacist which requires graduation from a Doctor of Pharmacy program. You should do whichever one interests you more, there is a lot of overlap between medicine and pharmacy, but each emphasizes different areas. Medicine focuses more on diagnosics and treatment modalities while Pharmacy focuses on pharmacologic, and nonpharmacologic, treatment modalities. After my pharmacy program I completed a residency and now I work as a clinical pharmacist which places me on a team with physicians and we see patients every day as a team discussing diagnoses as well as treatment options - so I do both diagnostics and pharmacology. I love my job, but I know that it isn't for everyone.

No, they don't

You can see a complete list of the accredited Colleges of Pharmacy in the USA, arranged by state, at the website of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy - google AACP and you can easily find it.

Yeah...they're pretty well-known for their pharmacy. My friend is going to Johns Hopkins for pharmacy all eight years.
