The only commercial I've seen for The Closer is playing the song "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers but the song your describing sounds like "C'mon, C'mon" by the band The Von Bondies which is the opening song for Rescue Me. You can find both of these on iTunes.

The only promo commercial for The Closer that I saw was was with the song "Ain't No Sunshine". Could the song you're trying to find be "Come On, Feel It" by Baumer or "Come On, Come On" by Billy Idol? You might want to try Rhapsody.com, they'll give you a list of songs just from words in the song. Please let us know when you do find out the song because now I'm curious.
