Because it was a stupid pick. Mcnabb is coming off a bad injury that ended his season last year. However they acquired Kelly Holcomb who is a more than competant back up quarterback and still have A.J Feeley who understands their system.
I do not understand why Kolb was so high on their draft board. He is good no doubt but the Eagles had other more pressing needs I believe like offensive line, and reciever. Kolbs arrival marks the end for A.J Feeley probably and maybe Donovan Mcnabb in the near future if he does not stay healthy.

I say bandwagon followers, remember all the Dallas followers contained in the mid ninety's? they confirmed up back on the starting up of the "07" season merely to bypass into hiding back. Then there are the Jets followers who recognized outta nowhere after gettin Favre, and nonetheless have higher expectancies then what they're going to recieve contained in the close to destiny. very last yet not least, whered a majority of those Cardinal followers come from? I suggested extra human beings wearing Detroit jerseys than playing cards beforehand even the playoffs. sparkling off the bandwagon i wager.

Eagles fans boo Santa Claus, but fat Andy shouldn't have wasted that pick on Kolb. He could have got him later.

It was a surprising pick so early, and Eagles fans boo good picks too. Them booing a draft pick, or anything, is never a surprise. They hated the pick of Donovan McNabb till they realized he was good and took them deep into the playoffs so many times.

1st off - because the Eagles fans are always hard on their players. Remember, they are the ones that booed McNabb when he was drafted.
2nd - they see McNabb as their franchise QB, and feel that they should've filled another position
3rd - It's Philly. Enough said.

I think they felt they needed another position more than another qb. There were a few very good linemen available when the Eagles were up. So I think that was a disappointment for them.
But I am only speculating. . .

because the eagles need more help at other positions and did not really need another QB with Donovan McNabb A.J. Feely and Kelly Holcomb
