I live in Caracas, Venezuela, one of the most insecure and violent cities at the west side of the Atlantic.
Once I was pointed with a gun by a robber and some people I have known have been killed by robbers; sadly, it is very common in Venezuela.
I have seen murdered people; once, a woman was shot by her jelous husband in the parking lot of the company where I worked then and then he shot him self; they both died. Recently, a few steps away from the tower where my office is located, a man was shot 30 times and the body was not removed from the site for about five hours so everyone going to my office saw him, including me.
I can´t erase those images from my mind. Sadly, in Venezuela some people are used to living in such a violent and dangerous enviroment. I haven´t.

Yes i witnessed a few, was almost killed once too, was saved by the noise that came out of my cb radio. the guys probably taught i was acop and ran off.

Yes i am in the police force and i have seen fair bit of murders. my partner got got shot infront of me

the only murder i saw was my husband killing a bug that flew in the window.

i witnessed a hit and run. the guy was a dui driver who was apprehended thank God!
