I was feeding my baby and turned on the Today Show. When I saw the 1st plane in the towers, I thought, "I can't believe more planes haven't flown into those tall buildings!" I remember seeing the 2nd plane fly into the other building, and at that very moment I knew that we were being attacked. Then not long afterwards, they break in with a news story of another plane going down. I was scared. I just remember being very scared. I remember when I got to the daycare they were talking about how the towers had collapsed and I thought, "Well, of course they did, they had planes fly into them." I never for one minute thought that there were people in inside. I just assumed that they got out. I can't/don't watch anything about it. I did the first 3/4 days and then I watched a documentary about 6 months later that aired on TV. Too horrific. That was it for me. Never again will I watch anything about it. God bless all the people who were there and lost family members. Let's not forget the emergency responders who are now dying from respiratory problems. I think the number is like 25 thousand. I heard about it last week on "The View." Rosie was talking about how she was on the headlines for leaving the show, and here are all these thousands of people who responded this emergency (after they were told the air was ok) and they're dropping like flies. She has a big heart. Just so others will know, these thousands of people don't have any money to assist them, so "The View" is planning to do some kind of fundraiser.

I was getting ready for work that morning (my first day) when I got a phone call from my then boyfriend's brother. He told us to turn on the TV...that's when I saw one of the towers on fire. Shortly after, I've gotten a phone call from my mother about the same thing, that's when I saw the plane plow into the other tower. I was in utter disbelief! I still went to work that day but found it very hard to be trained that day, so did everyone else. So a lot of us went home. The whole town has literally closed down shortly after the attacks. I've watched the whole news coverage that day. It's something that I or neither of us can never forget.

I was in college at the time. I turned on my tv to listen to as I was getting ready for class and saw what was happening. I basically stopped getting ready and sat down and watched in utter disbelief as the towers fell. I spent the rest of the day in front of the tv watching what was going on. I still cry when photos or videos from that day are shown on tv. I refuse to watch the movies that have come out (United 93, World Trade Center, etc....), it is just too soon for me.

I was at work. I worked for a financial institution who did lots of business in the Towers. The moment the news broke, they brought up televisions to every floor. I don't think I've ever heard any place get so quiet. I suspect I cried.

I was at work, only married to my husband for 6 months when it happened. I tried his cellphone to make sure he wasn't sent into the city to work again and couldn't get through, so I called his office to find out where he was. Thankfully he was working on Long Island that day, had he gone into the city he would of been working right around the corner from the trade center. I feel bad for all the people that where lost that day but very thankful my husband wasn't one of them.

I was in school, in seventh grade. I was confused because everybody was telling different versions of what had happened. Then my math teacher finally turned on the tv and we were all shocked and quiet as we watched the news. Then I talked about it with my friends and we tried to comfort a girl in our class who started crying because she had a relative who worked in one of the buildings.

I was just waking up, I turned on the t.v. just before the 2nd plane hit, I sat there in amazement. I knew immediately that we were under attack.. Before I had even heard anyone say it. I had goose bumps the entire time.
