I have been reading some of the questions and answers about koi fish and it has caused me to be concerned. How big of a tank should one koi have. The one i have now is about 2 1/2 - 3 inches long?

One Koi can be happy in a 110 gallon tank, but they will still dominate the tank with their size. They really are pond fish, requiring a lot of room for their adult size of approximately 2 feet or so.

An adult koi wouldn't be able to be kept in an average tank. As adults, they'd be 2-3 feet long. These really need to be kept in a pond.
