They don't want to think about good liberals. Because then they will be forced to concede that liberalism is not all bad. They get too much enjoyment out of hating us.

There are all kinds of liberals. All believe the lies. Some believe more lies than others but all are led by the father of all lies. The "good" ones are driving down the road paved with good intentions. They see poverty and need and think "Gee, I don't have the money to help those in poverty" The next step is to say. "Well, there are people out there who do." Let me elect someone who will steel money from the rich. No, the liberals don't use the word "steel". they say "tax" Yes that makes perfect sense. However, Taxing the riuch does not harm the rich. They don't live in smaller houses or sell their Leer jets. When you tax the rich, they make their employees work harder for less, they make their customers ay more for less and they make their shareholders earn less on investments. This doesn't help the poor it makes more poor people. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. I can make similar arguments against a "fair" wage and "diverse lifestyles." A liberal is a liberal. Some believe more lies than others.

As far as complaining about everything - people having a hard time is a huge complaint. If anyone is having a hard time the government has to fix it. They blame it on a president or any Republican. As long as there are people having a hard time, the Republicans are blamed for not caring. The Environment is a huge complaint. As long as there is 1 PPB of any contaminant anywhere the Republicans will be blamed. Tolerant of diverse lifestyles. is a huge complaint. It usually involves giving them everything they want and equal outcomes economically,politically and socially. It's an impossible goal. Fair wages is a huge complaint. as long as a hamburgr flipper is making less than a construction worker wages will be unfair.

In my view "good" liberals want to steel from the rich and are envious of those who do well. They want to harm industry by making impossible goals of non pollution. They want to protect immoral lifestyles that harm people. They want to promote envy of the worker against the boss. I see no basic "goodness" in liberal thoughts ideas or values.

as if Bill Clinton never lied , and then complain about the

You almost have it, but you need to put the "care about people having a hard time" part under bad Liberals. Good liberals, as in classic liberals, want the least amount of government interference in their lives, and this includes social programs paid for with their tax dollars. Bad Liberals want the government to take care of everyone, because they believe the government can spend our money better than we can.

You forgot also that most Republicans are not bad people and all Democrats are not liberal! And many cross over the fence on different issues. There are even conservative Democrats! Generalizations are more common as you get to lower levels of people, (lower in education, status, etc.) If you really don't understand that about people, you could just ignore the "generalized" questions about liberals and conservatives.

I'm not sure if I'm conservative or not, but I'm southern and in the military so I've definitely got some conservative genes in me. Anyway, I like that some democrats fight for wages (worked too many minimum wage jobs in my life), and health care and what not. I just don't like that they want to raise taxes in order to pay for a welfare system that has no checks and balances.

all terrorists are bad... even though the Boston Tea Party was an act of terrorism

all liberals are on welfare... even though employment rates clearly shows most people are employed on both sides

There are more than just two types of liberals, as there are conservatives that have the mental capacity to look pass the "liberal" label and see other things.
