I like to refer to my women in the past as 'my girl' because it shows ownership, basically that they are part of my belongings and I am happy to call them my own.

I think it is ok to call a person your girl, or the lady I been seeing a lot of, or even by just our first name. ane not a thing wrong with thqt. we don't go qround agonizing how to introduce a guy, just state his name and go from there, HOPE THIS YEAR IS BETTER THAN LAST. just because you date someone a few times, doesn;t mean you have any ownership rights. Chill.....

Whatever pleases you Sandy is fine with me.
I just want to make you happy!
(I do like the idea of being called your girl though because I am very proud to belong to you)
XOXO

Actually, I'm quite flattered when a guy refers to me as "His" It let's a girl know where she stands and makes her feel special. It is only a turn off if the relationship itself is a negative or over controlling one. So as long as I'm happy with the guy he can call me "his"....but I'll call him mine too.

First of all, I am going to have to answer this question WITH a question. Since when does establishing your gf, by " his girl", or" my girl" claiming ownership to anyone? You need to get your priorities straight. No one " owns" another person. But to answer your question, I like it when I am referred to by my own name. Any other name I will not answer to.

It depends on who he's introducing me to. If it's one of his friends then I don't have a problem being referred to as "his girl". However, I don't like the term, the 'ole lady or the ball and chain.

I like to be refered to as Nicole, since that is my name. Unlike my dog, I am not owned by anyone, I am a free human being.

I also want to throw in I noticed you wrote 'the women in the past'... yeah, I can probably tell you why they were the past, and not present with you anymore.

I actually have a name, and I really like to have it used. I don't mind "this is my girl, ", but the name has to be included.

Otherwise, I take to calling him nothing but "my boy". For some reason, men find that annoying after awhile. Go figure.
