I recently had a break out of ick but thought it was under control, now my gourmoris wiskers dont look good, they look very fragile like they are going to break off.. any ideas what this is?? could it be the ick still?? thanks

Not ich, that's for sure. Could the whiskers be longer than they were and just looking thinner? They are normally rather long, almost as long as the fish and quite thin. It could be your fish's whiskers are just growing back to normal.

Mine all look like that! But my boys are all healthy. Their whiskers all have a little bend in them, I just figured this was normal for dwarfs.
If it's anything, it may be some infighting. Keep an eye out for any predatory behavior in the tank. Have you changed their diet lately? This can lead to agressive behaviour ,or slight malnutrition if they initially reject the food.

Buy a stress coat formula with aloe vera and add it in as directed. It should help his whiskers grow back to normal within 1 week.

They may have gone into a fight or something
