Use system restore, it's allot easier then reinstalling drivers. It's in the start menu under All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore.

Hi, I don't want to act like a computer genius, but i am assuming that you don't know much about computers. Reason is because I think that you can't really "delete" you audio DEVICE DRIVERS. I think they got corrupted. Did you download, install, uninstall, or mess with the registry?
The Answer: 1. My best bet would be to find the drivers for your audio online and install them.
2. Reformat
3. The BEST way would be to use system restore, restore it to the time it worked.

Is this onboard sound or a sound card? If it is onboard go into the Bios, find out what the audio manufacturer is, go to their website and download the drivers. Install them and you should be good to go.

With a sound card, just try going into the device manager, deleting it, rebooting and reinstall when Windows detects it.

Hope you're hearing tunes soon!
