All parents get frusturated with their children and his daughter was probably being a brat (what 11 year old refuses to take a call from their parent who is paying their bills?!)....I know most parents in here have probably lost it on their children once or twice...do you think the media is blowing this out of proportion?

There have been much worse cases of verbal abuse between parents and children. Alec Baldwin is getting special treatment because he is a celebrity, and obviously he has no right to privacy (since he is a celebrity).
I don't see why Alec Baldwin's phone call to his daughter even got on the news. Out of all the horrible parents in this country, Alec does not make it on the top one-hundred thousand people.
Alec lost a child, and if his daughter doesn't want him to become a part of her life, then Alec had all the right to lose his temper. I'm not saying he should've said those words to her, but yes, he should have gotten angry.

Yes....BY FAR.....most divorces end in bitterness and it seems like the poor kid is getting the brunt of it
I consider myself a normal parent and the first time I ever spanked one of my twins ( trust me , I had too....nothing and I mean nothing else was working) , I went out on the back porch and cried for about an hour
Keep in mind I'm a 250 male whose afriad of very little and is known among most people as a guy you don't wanna mess with....but this broke my heart in two
They will press your buttons and they will push the envelope
I think Baldwin had his buttons pressed and the envelope was pushed a little too far and unfortunatley he is in the publis eye.
Calling the kid a little pig was going too far as I was concerned because words can really hurt sometimes and I make it a point never to say hurtful things to my boys under any circumstances
But he's dealing with a nasty divorce , where in my opinion , each party is as bad as the other
It's a sad state of affairs but Yeah , I think the guy is being nailed to the wall over losing his temper , and thats a pity

Yes. This was a phone appointment at a predetermined time, probably set by the court or mutual agreement. She stood him up again and again and yet he is not allowed to miss any of his duties or the court can take action against him. I can not believe that I am defending Mr Baldwin who I really do not care for.
But anyone who can say they would not be angry about being blown off by their own child isn't living in reality

Yeah i do. Its a personal matter to begin with, and should never have been in the hands of the media. Everyone says things when they are upset, i cant even list all the things my dad called me when i was a teenager,but i just kept pushing his buttons, and he would blow up.Thats what kids do, and parents celebrity or not, are only human, we dont know the whole story, so why make a judgement on someones life.

Yes, to the extent that its none of the public's business what happened. But no, because what he did was very wrong and what his ex wife did was just as bad. Shame on both of them for treating there daughter like that. That's dispicable.

I am just sick to death of hearing about it! If I turn on the news, I am hoping against all hope that-that story doesn't come on. It invariably does, and I am just tired of it. Its only because he is a celebrity that people are responding this way. I wish people would just drop it!

Yeah it is besides when most parents get pissed they say stuff that they don't mean. Plus the child is kind of a brat.

I mean,it wasnt that bad in my opinion.
Atleast he didnt totally cuss her out.
Every parent has done something like that

baldwin admits to having anger problems i feel he is very abusive to his exwife and his daughter he is an out of control dangerous man i have seen this before do not be fooled by this if this was my child and the dad did this i would do whatever i had to do to protect her so thumbs uo to kim
