They are giving equal starting oppurtunities to LaRue (.125 avg) and John Buck (.349 avg). Also when Buck dose play he bats 8th. Don't criticize Buck, hes dirty.

I don't understand the idea behind platooning the catchers either. Buck has been the everyday guy the last couple years and he's ripping the cover off the ball right now. They're about equal defensively but Buck has a much better arm. I don't think they're trying to lose, but I don't know the thought process behind that decision. Oh, as a side note to the guy that said "I used to be a Royals fan when they George Brett....." why not just say I'm a fair weather fan and only root for the winners. Probably a real big Red Sox or Yankee fan right now.

GO ROYALS!!!!!

Just so you know, draft picks in the majors mean diddly squat. Anyhow, the Royals lose cause they are in a small market, no big names want to play for them, they are too cheap to get any big names, and their minor league system is doing a crappy job of making average players into good players.

No, of course not. Sure seems that way, sometimes, though.
I was a Royals fan when they had Brett and Quiz and Frank White. Remember Buddy Biancalana? Those were great times. They'll be back someday. . . .
