Hello. I am sitting here thinking of how to answer, and I realize that in either case on both sides of the spectrum they are both subjective and relative to the person. Having said that friend, I'd say TREASURES are greater. Why? Treasures have more subjective intrinsic value whereas (financial) riches have a more neutral basic value. Of course riches can buy you treasures, but I'd rather have the treasures: memories of loved ones, good friends who've blessed my life, my photography and images I've taken with my own eye that are a source of comfort from time to time, etc. So having said this, Give me the treasures... quick please!!!

With riches, you can buy many treasures, even though there's a metaphoric meaning behind the term 'treasures'. With riches, you can have a roof over your head to value those treasures, whether metaphoric or not.

Riches - one can be very rich with friends, family, health and happiness and not have a dime (or treasure)!

Treasures are greater by far. I'll give you an example. I have an old rosary that belonged to my great-grandmother. It was blessed for her by the Pope. It is made of wood and literally has no value. Yet to me, even a non-Catholic, it is one of my greatest treasures, and money could never replace something she held so dear.
