This work takes quite a variety of tools. Most are long and narrow, so that they fit through small holes, but they are made of high quality steel and come in many shapes.

The theory I was told of is that they can slowly bend metal back into shape, without heat . It takes time and it takes knowledge of how metal shapes itself when stressed.

The only limitation I was told of is that the original paint must be intact. It does not matter how deep or large the dent or dents may me if the paint is unbroken then they can bring the metal back to the original condition.

I had it done on two cars, and I have been very positively impressed each time.

If you want to learn how, I suggest you speak to someone who knows it well, and ask if they would teach you if you donate your time and learn from them at no charge.

If you become good they may hire you. If you become really good, you may start your own company, and hire yourself.

Paintless repair is usually limited to dents that have no creases, and are pulled out using suction cup tool similar to a bathroom plunger or a glass installers cup. If there are any creases, chances are not good for a "paintless repair".
